Customer: I have a question.

Waiter/Waitress: What would you like to know?

C: What is the soup of the day?

W: It’s tomato soup, a British specialty.

C: Ok, perfect.

W: What would you like to drink?

C: I would like 2 glasses of strawberry cocktail.

How much is it, please?

W: It’s £5 (five pounds).

C: Oh! That’s not expensive.

Is the ice-cream really home-made?

W: Yes, of course. Everyday.

Would you like some chocolate?

C: Yes, please with chantilly.

At the fast-food restaurant

This restaurant is not very fancy because it’s a fast food restaurant but the waitress is very polite.

The customer is very chic. He has a tie and a shirt, leather shoes and a beautiful watch.

He wants breakfast but he is 3 minutes late. They stopped serving breakfast at 11:30 (a.m.).

He gets angry because they can’t understand each other. They can’t speak together.

He says: « the customer is always right« .
