Then, we started to fill in your irregular verb list with 15 verbs at the end of your copybook.

Finally, you wrote* a lesson about the preterit and you did* an exercise to practise.

Le prétérit

Pour parler au passé, j’utilise le prétérit.

A la forme interrogative: DID + Sujet + base verbale +…?

Pour répondre : Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.

A la forme négative : Sujet + DIDN’T + base verbale +…

A la forme affirmative :

  • Verbes réguliers: Sujet + Verbe-ED (attention à la prononciation: /t/, /id/, /d/)

  • Verbes irréguliers : Sujet + Verbe à apprendre par coeur* ( voir liste fin cahier)

1. Did you visit your family?

2. You didn’t buy a car.

3. He took* the bus.

4. We played games.
